About me
How lovely to have you here!
My name is Zoe, and I moved from Cologne to Vlissingen. The sea has always held a very special attraction for me. Even as a little girl, water was always my “place to be.” Here, surrounded by wind, waves, and the endless horizon, I find not only peace, but also my deepest inspiration. Near the sea, I feel connected, light, and truly at home — and it is from this feeling that my art is born.
My concept:
At a time when sustainability is no longer just a trend but a necessity, this art comes to life: organic, sensual, and deeply connected to nature.
With Z.ART Tides, I place hand-collected natural materials from the sea — especially seashells — at the heart of my work, combining them with second-hand and new objects, complemented by carefully selected materials.
The shell, once a place of shelter for a living organism, becomes the foundation for an artistic exploration of transience, beauty, and reuse. Particularly beautiful and striking pieces are collected by hand along the beaches of Zeeland. Together with driftwood, stones, and fragments shaped by the sea, they become works that carry the traces of wind, water, and time.
Each found object is one of a kind — shaped by nature, discovered at just the right moment. I transform these materials into sculptures, canvases, everyday objects, and pieces of jewelry. In this way, I create works that are sustainable while also serving as a quiet homage to the beauty and power of the sea.
This art is not loud, but meditative. It invites you to pause, to look more closely. Every piece carries the energy of the sea within it.
It is not about imitating nature or improving it. It is about making it visible.
Discover in my shop how I turn my passion for the sea into unique creations — so that you, too, can always carry a little piece of the sea and shore with you.
From the coast with love,
Zoe
